Platforms, portals and perspectives — on the way to an OER ecosystem
Event content
Focal points
The workshops will address interoperability/collaboration, usability, accessibility and inclusion, didactization and education across learning venues with OER (see programme). Open Educational Resources (OER) are open educational materials that can be used free of charge. As they allow adaptation to specific teaching and learning contexts and (collaborative) further development, they can support the design of an open educational world.
Target group
The face-to-face meeting is aimed at anyone interested in open educational resources (OER) and the associated infrastructures.
Topic & procedure
The 1st MOERFI Demo Day will take place on June 3, 2025, at the FWU Institute for Film and Image in Science and Education in Munich-Grünwald.
The acronym MOERFI stands for "Demo Days and Mapping of (OER-promoting) Educational Infrastructures". The BMBF-funded project facilitates the exchange of experience in the education sector and thus strengthens the discussion of common, partly cross-educational issues, with a focus on interoperability, schools and learning infrastructures (see project profile).
The motto of the demo day is "Platforms, Portals and Perspectives" and is dedicated to networking and making digital education infrastructures visible.
In addition to a keynote speech on the topic, the program includes market stall presentations and workshops on cross-cutting topics in line with the headline "on the way to an OER ecosystem".
