Topic & procedure
Appealing teaching in medicine, health and nursing sciences thrives on good case studies — ideally based on real cases. How can this be combined with open teaching and responsible, legally compliant handling of patient data? This is what this interactive workshop is all about.
In the first part, we will show you how you can use open educational materials to plan your teaching more easily, design it innovatively and share it with others on twillo — with a special focus on the requirements in medicine and the health and nursing sciences.
The second part deals with the handling of personal and medical data from diagnosis, treatment, research and teaching: What types of data are there, how can they be anonymized and what legal principles — such as GDPR and medical confidentiality — must be observed? We will work with you to develop case studies and possible solutions.
Speakers
- Dr. David Stöllger (twilloHub, Technische Informationsbibliothek)
- Yulia Loose (Juristin, twillo, elan e.V.)
