The OER Sym­po­sium 2024 is orga­nized by the office of the Open Resources
Cam­pus Nor­drhein-West­falen ( ORCA.nrw for short) in coop­er­a­tion with the ORCA.nrw state por­tal net­work.

The motto of this year’s sym­po­sium is Exchange — Net­work­ing — Com­mu­nity. It brings together teach­ers from the spe­cial­ist com­mu­ni­ties for an exchange of expe­ri­ence and knowl­edge on Open Edu­ca­tional Resources. Teach­ers from NRW who are cur­rently imple­ment­ing exten­sive OER projects them­selves will report on their prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence and present OER projects from six dif­fer­ent sub­ject areas. In addi­tion, par­tic­i­pants will have the oppor­tu­nity to take part in work­shops on var­i­ous top­ics such as the trans­for­ma­tive design of uni­ver­sity teach­ing, sto­ry­telling, AI and OER and the cre­ation and dis­cov­ery of open edu­ca­tional resources.
