twillo and Multimedia Kontor Hamburg (MMKH) are continuing their joint series of events on open education in higher education. The blog post presents the third online symposium “Measures for the reuse and reuse of OER in higher education” on November 5, 2024.

The re-use and re-utilization of open teaching and learning materials (OER) at universities still falls short of the possibilities and expectations. It is unclear which measures could encourage greater re-use of open learning materials.

• Do the available materials lack technical breadth?
• Is there a need to make suitable OER easier to find?
• Do uncertainties regarding the quality of OER stand in the way of reuse?

The OER portal twillo and Multimedia Kontor Hamburg will explore these and other questions on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in the free online symposium “Measures for the reuse and reuse of OER in higher education”.
