twillo and Mul­ti­me­dia Kon­tor Ham­burg (MMKH) are con­tin­u­ing their joint series of events on open edu­ca­tion in higher edu­ca­tion. The blog post presents the third online sym­po­sium “Mea­sures for the reuse and reuse of OER in higher edu­ca­tion” on Novem­ber 5, 2024.

The re-use and re-uti­liza­tion of open teach­ing and learn­ing mate­ri­als (OER) at uni­ver­si­ties still falls short of the pos­si­bil­i­ties and expec­ta­tions. It is unclear which mea­sures could encour­age greater re-use of open learn­ing mate­ri­als.

• Do the avail­able mate­ri­als lack tech­ni­cal breadth?
• Is there a need to make suit­able OER eas­ier to find?
• Do uncer­tain­ties regard­ing the qual­ity of OER stand in the way of reuse?

The OER por­tal twillo and Mul­ti­me­dia Kon­tor Ham­burg will explore these and other ques­tions on Tues­day, Novem­ber 5, 2024 in the free online sym­po­sium “Mea­sures for the reuse and reuse of OER in higher edu­ca­tion”.
