At IT’s Jointly IT & OER Sum­mer Camp 2024, in Weimar, par­tic­i­pants will spend three days work­ing on ideas and solu­tions for open, free and dig­i­tal edu­ca­tion in var­i­ous work­shops. Together, the active par­tic­i­pants will iden­tify local needs, develop con­cepts and soft­ware pro­to­types and plan their imple­men­ta­tion in prac­tice.

In addi­tion to light­ning talks with insights into spe­cial activ­i­ties, the pro­gram includes numer­ous work­shops and ses­sions. These will address top­ics such as shared ser­vices in edu­ca­tional spaces, the AI train­ing basis through input from edi­to­r­ial net­works or com­mu­nity build­ing by sub­scrib­ing to col­lec­tions. Work­shops are also sched­uled to dis­cuss the ques­tion “Descrip­tions instead of meta­data?” or ped­a­gog­i­cal work­space / adap­tive cur­ricu­lum topic pages and machine-process­able teach­ing con­cepts.
