Topic & procedure

Image-generating AI tools open up new possibilities for visually enriching teaching materials and conveying complex content vividly — without any prior artistic knowledge.

In this tooltime, you will learn about various recommended AI tools that are suitable for image generation. You will get an overview of their functions, learn how the style, format and details of AI-generated images can be specifically influenced and receive concrete, practical tips for use in teaching — e.g. for cartoons, visualizations or process illustrations.

The content of Tooltime complements our workshop “AI, OER and law — solving practical cases together”, which focuses on the legal aspects of using artificial intelligence in teaching. Both formats can be attended independently of each other, but in combination they offer a holistic insight into the didactic and legal dimensions of AI and OER. An overview of further workshop dates can be found here.
