Topic & procedure

Open Educational Resources (OER) are openly licensed educational materials that can be used by teachers free of charge. As they allow adaptation to specific teaching and learning contexts and (collaborative) further development, OER can support the design of educational programs.

The basic workshop on the development of OER material will take place in two digital sessions. In the first part of this event (14:00 to 16:00), you will familiarize yourself with the characteristics of open educational materials and reflect on their opportunities and challenges. Particular attention will be paid to copyright and open licensing. In interactive exercises, you will learn how you can integrate OER into your teaching and what you need to bear in mind when creating your own OER. You will also get to know the functions of the OER portal www.twillo.de.

The second part of the event (16:30 to 18:00) is a Q&A session in which you can present your own OER and ask individual questions.

You will also get to know our portal www.twillo.de a little better.
