AI-supported open teaching materials: challenges and opportunities for university teaching - findings from Lower Saxony
How can artificial intelligence (AI) usefully support the creation and use of open teaching materials such as open educational resources (OER)? In the practical discourse, twillo presents findings from its own workshop formats, a survey of teachers in Lower Saxony and background discussions with experts.
A short presentation (15 minutes) introduces key issues, followed by a fishbowl discussion (45 minutes) with three external guests. Together with the audience, concrete options for action for a didactically sound, legally compliant and sustainably anchored use of AI-supported OER in university teaching will be discussed.
Speakers
- Dr. Mathias Stein (twillo, HiS-HE)
- Johannes Koch (wiss. Mitarbeiter, Universität Osnabrück)
- Yulia Loose (Juristin, ELAN e.V.)
