AI and OER in use: Enhancing OER with AI in compliance with the law | Session 1

The interactive twillo workshop will explore the many ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the world of open educational resources (OER) and can make the creation of teaching materials much easier. The workshop is aimed at university lecturers who want to design their materials in an innovative way.

Participants will receive an overview of the legally compliant use of AI tools
(including copyright issues, legal risks), practice legally compliant use of AI in practical group work using typical case studies and learn strategies for creating high-quality teaching materials with AI. Tips on effective prompt design are also provided.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of digital teaching is helpful, but not essential. The workshop is aimed at beginners and advanced students.
