What is the difference between collections and series?
Series are used to provide several materials that belong directly together and would not be complete or comprehensible independently of each other. For this reason, the materials in a series can only be found together in the portal. Examples of such materials include a task sheet and the corresponding solution or a video and the corresponding script.
Collections allow you to compile educational materials that are each self-contained and comprehensible on their own. Use the collection function, for example, to organize several materials from a specific subject area or topic or to present different OER from a project together. Note that collections cannot be displayed publicly in the twillo search, at this time. We recommend using series, instead.
