What is metadata and how can I edit the metadata of my material?
What is metadata?
Metadata is data with which you can clearly describe your material, such as author, title, content and license. Metadata can be read by both machines and humans. This ensures that your OER can be found via search engines and that teachers can assess whether your content is suitable for a different teaching/learning context.
twillo supports you step-by-step with the description of your content each time you provide material by means of an input mask - the metadata dialog. It is important to ensure that only the information that you have entered on your material is used and can be verified.
How can I edit the metadata of my material?
To change the metadata of your material, please open the metadata dialog. To do this, go to your workspace and open the menu options (three dots) for the material you would like to change. Select Edit info here.
In the following input screen, you will be guided through entering the information about your material.
Important: Please note that information directly on your material (e.g. title, author, license) must match the information you enter in the metadata dialog. If this is not the case, the reusability of your material will be significantly restricted.
