What is LiaScript?

LiaScript is an open source software for creating freely accessible online courses with interactive content (e.g. animations, quizzes, code). The application is free to use and is basically open to everyone. All you need to create your own courses is a browser or text editor (e.g. VS Code).

LiaScript offers the opportunity to work together on content. By making the created learning units available via GitHub, authors can also give other teachers and learners extensive opportunities to reuse their entire course structure. The software is therefore not only suitable for the creation of OER, the application is even explicitly aimed at this. The basic idea of the developers is to contribute to the design of open and collaborative education - internationally and for all areas of education.
