Online symposium on awareness and incentive tools for OER | May 10, 2023

Together with Mul­ti­me­dia Kon­tor Ham­burg, the Lower Sax­ony OER por­tal twillo is cur­rently prepar­ing a half-day online sym­po­sium on “Aware­ness and incen­tive tools for OER” in part­ner­ship with the OER coop­er­a­tion net­work (KNOER).

The event will exam­ine exam­ples of how uni­ver­si­ties are already sup­port­ing the use of OER and which aware­ness mea­sures and incen­tive instru­ments can con­tribute to a broader inte­gra­tion of OER into teach­ing prac­tice in the future.

Dr. San­dra Schön has been secured as keynote speaker to intro­duce the topic. This will be fol­lowed by six to eight 15- to 20-minute prac­ti­cal con­tri­bu­tions on aware­ness mea­sures, pri­mar­ily from OER por­tals, por­tal net­works, uni­ver­sity man­age­ment and cen­tral insti­tu­tions, as well as a con­clud­ing panel dis­cus­sion.

The event will take place on Wednes­day, May 10, 2023, is aimed at all OER stake­hold­ers and inter­ested par­ties from Ger­man-speak­ing coun­tries and invites you to dis­cuss excit­ing top­ics in a vari­ety of for­mats. The entire sup­port­ing pro­gram will take place online and is free of charge. Fur­ther infor­ma­tion on the event pro­gram will fol­low shortly.
