Events and information on the legally compliant and didactic use of AI for OER creation.
AI and OER belong together: AI supports the graphic and didactic preparation of open educational materials. Content generated autonomously by AI is in the public domain in Germany. This means that it can generally be integrated into OER easily and in compliance with the law. At the same time, the limits of AI should be taken into account and students and teachers should be made aware of its responsible use.

AI & OER workshops
We offer regular workshops on the practical and legally compliant use of AI in open university teaching. The presentation slides can be viewed and downloaded on twillo.
The slide sets offer a sound basis for your own teaching, for training courses or for internal further training and can be flexibly adapted to the respective context. They are updated on an ongoing basis - subsequent use and editing is expressly encouraged.
Network meeting AI in open teaching
At the virtual network meeting, university lecturers and other interested parties, primarily from Lower Saxony, exchange ideas on AI topics. In addition to content-related impulses and discussions, participants can network via a digital bulletin board. Discover more exciting events on our events page.
Previous topics: The first meeting focused on competencies in the context of the EU AI Regulation. In the second, data protection-compliant AI tools will be presented and tested.
