Information on the accessibility of these websites in accordance with Section 9b NBGG and on the relevant contact options:

This declaration on accessibility applies to the twillo.de website and its subpages.

twillo.de is a repository of the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) Hannover.

These websites are largely compatible with the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018) and WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

This content is excluded from the application of accessibility in accordance with Section 9 (2) NBGG.

The contents listed under 3. are not barrier-free for the following reasons:

Re 3A: Videos have no text alternatives.

Re 3B: Some photos, graphics and images do not have text descriptions.

Re 3C: PDF documents are not created barrier-free.

The website is being adapted and optimized in line with EU Directive 2016/2102 on the implementation of accessible public sector websites. The identified deficits and shortcomings are currently undergoing a continuous improvement process that is being successively worked through.

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above-mentioned contact option, you can submit an application to the conciliation body set up by the State Commissioner for People with Disabilities in Lower Saxony to initiate conciliation proceedings in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG).

The arbitration board according to § 9 d NBGG has the task of settling disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies of the state of Lower Saxony on the subject of accessibility in IT. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. It is not necessary to seek legal advice.
