Specific application examples will be used to show how generative tools such as text and image generators not only support the creation of materials, but can also open up new didactic scope. \n\nAfter a short input with examples from teaching practice and current insights into the development and application of AI, you will work in small groups on selected scenarios. AI will be tested as a sparring partner, visualizer or source of inspiration - always with a view to real teaching contexts. The experiences are reflected on in plenary sessions. The focus is on the question of how the use of AI can succeed in a didactically meaningful way and support the design of open, high-quality teaching materials.   \n\nThe workshop is aimed at university lecturers and staff from higher education didactic service institutions who are looking for new impulses for their teaching - regardless of their previous technical knowledge. Together, we will explore the potential and challenges of AI-supported applications, develop concrete ideas for our own practice and open up perspectives on how AI can be meaningfully integrated into teaching and learning contexts and OER.
