At the same time, many lecturers are unsure about what is permitted under copyright law - especially in digital formats, on learning platforms and for recordings. \n\nIn this workshop, you will receive a practical overview of the most important legal bases for the use of third-party content in teaching. Using typical scenarios from everyday teaching, we will clarify the following questions, among others: \n<ul>\n\t<li>What do \u00a7 60a UrhG (teaching and learning) and the right to quote allow? What are their limits? <\/li>\n\t<li>What needs to be considered when using textbook images, PDFs, videos and online materials in Moodle, Stud.IP and similar platforms?<\/li>\n\t<li>How can open licenses (Creative Commons) and OER help to reduce legal hurdles?<\/li>\n\t<li>How should slides and materials be designed in order to incorporate third-party content in a legally compliant manner?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nAfter short input phases, you will work on specific case studies in small groups.
