This blog post will give you an insight into the aims and con\u00adtent of an OER tan\u00addem project at Osnabr\u00fcck Uni\u00adver\u00adsity and Osnabr\u00fcck Uni\u00adver\u00adsity of Applied Sci\u00adences.<\/strong> The project is funded as part of the MWK\u2019s OER ini\u00adtia\u00adtive for the higher edu\u00adca\u00adtion sec\u00adtor.<\/p>\n\n

The joint project \u201cOpen Edu\u00adca\u00adtion Resources (OER)-Portal Nieder\u00adsach\u00adsen \u2014 Devel\u00adop\u00adment of micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions for teach\u00ading to pro\u00admote inter\u00adcul\u00adtural and diver\u00adsity com\u00adpe\u00adtence of stu\u00addents\u201d involves the Depart\u00adment of Work and Orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtional Psy\u00adchol\u00adogy, with a focus on inter\u00adcul\u00adtural busi\u00adness psy\u00adchol\u00adogy at Osnabr\u00fcck Uni\u00adver\u00adsity and Busi\u00adness Psy\u00adchol\u00adogy at the Fac\u00adulty of Busi\u00adness, Eco\u00adnom\u00adics and Social Sci\u00adences at Osnabr\u00fcck Uni\u00adver\u00adsity of Applied Sci\u00adences.<\/p>\n\n

The aim of the project is to develop sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adi\u00adcally sound micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions to pro\u00admote inter\u00adcul\u00adtural and diver\u00adsity skills as OER for uni\u00adver\u00adsity teach\u00ading. By micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions we mean short train\u00ading sequences con\u00adsist\u00ading of an Edu\u00adcast and inter\u00adac\u00adtive train\u00ading ele\u00adments to pro\u00admote exchange, learn\u00ading and self-reflec\u00adtion. <\/p>\n\n

In the prepara\u00adtory phase, a com\u00admon didac\u00adtic and sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adi\u00adcally sound basis has been devel\u00adoped since Feb\u00adru\u00adary 2021, with the involve\u00adment of the Cen\u00adter for Dig\u00adi\u00adtal Teach\u00ading and the LehrKol\u00adleg at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsity of Osnabr\u00fcck.<\/p>\n\n

In the con\u00adcep\u00adtion phase, edu\u00adcasts on cul\u00adture and cul\u00adtural dimen\u00adsions as well as lay and expert inter\u00adviews on the topic of facets of diver\u00adsity have been devel\u00adoped and filmed since April 2021. At the same time, the sup\u00adple\u00admen\u00adtary train\u00ading for\u00admats are being com\u00adpiled into immer\u00adsive, short, inter\u00adac\u00adtive and trans\u00adfer-ori\u00adented micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions (e.g. quizzes, case stud\u00adies, reflec\u00adtion exer\u00adcises, group dis\u00adcus\u00adsions, learn\u00ading con\u00adtrol ques\u00adtions). <\/p>\n\n

In the eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion phase, some micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions will be tested and eval\u00adu\u00adated with dif\u00adfer\u00adent tar\u00adget groups from Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2021. The results will be used to adapt the micro-inter\u00adven\u00adtions before they are made avail\u00adable uni\u00adver\u00adsity-wide and on twillo from 2022. Ini\u00adtial interim results will be pre\u00adsented at the Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion for Cross-Cul\u00adtural Psy\u00adchol\u00adogy con\u00adfer\u00adence at the end of July 2021. Fur\u00adther con\u00adfer\u00adence par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpa\u00adtions (e.g. Euro\u00adpean Asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion of Work and Orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtional Psy\u00adchol\u00adogy) are in prepa\u00adra\u00adtion. <\/p>\n\n
