In recent years, numer\u00adous projects have been sup\u00adported by the twillo net\u00adwork as part of the \u201cOER for Higher Edu\u00adca\u00adtion\u201d fund\u00ading mea\u00adsure of the Lower Sax\u00adony Min\u00adistry of Sci\u00adence and Cul\u00adture, includ\u00ading the \u201cQual\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtive Research Meth\u00adods for Respon\u00adsi\u00adble Man\u00adage\u00adment Edu\u00adca\u00adtion\u201d project at the Insti\u00adtute of Man\u00adage\u00adment and Orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion at Leuphana Uni\u00adver\u00adsity of L\u00fcneb\u00adurg. As part of a two-day research-ori\u00adented work\u00adshop on \u201cOrga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion Stud\u00adies on Open\u00adness \u2014 The\u00adory, Research Prac\u00adtice and Teach\u00ading\u201d (10th LOST Work\u00adshop), the project man\u00adagers, includ\u00ading Pro\u00adfes\u00adsor Han\u00adnah Trit\u00adtin-Ulbrich and Johanne D\u00fcster\u00adbeck, gave the twillo net\u00adwork the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to present the twillo por\u00adtal to an inter\u00adna\u00adtional audi\u00adence of pro\u00adfes\u00adsors, post\u00addocs and doc\u00adtoral stu\u00addents at Leuphana Uni\u00adver\u00adsity on 14 and 15 Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2023. The work\u00adshop focused on \u201copen\u00adness\u201d as a new \u201cleit\u00admo\u00adtif\u201d in man\u00adage\u00adment and orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtional research. One aim was to gain valu\u00adable insights into how the invited aca\u00add\u00ade\u00admics engage in research and teach\u00ading. <\/p>\n\n
Klaus Wan\u00adnemacher (HIS-HE) spoke about Open Edu\u00adca\u00adtional Resources (OER) and the twillo por\u00adtal in a ses\u00adsion on the first day of the work\u00adshop, which was ded\u00adi\u00adcated to the topic of \u201cOpen\u00adness in Teach\u00ading and Edu\u00adca\u00adtion: An Open Edu\u00adca\u00adtional Resource Project by the LOST Group\u201d. Johanne D\u00fcster\u00adbeck (Leuphana Uni\u00adver\u00adsity) gave an overview of the dig\u00adi\u00adtal LOST lec\u00adture series on qual\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtive research meth\u00adods, which was cre\u00adated as part of the afore\u00admen\u00adtioned fund\u00ading project. Wan\u00adnemacher placed the twillo por\u00adtal\u2019s offer\u00adings in the nation\u00adwide land\u00adscape of OER por\u00adtals and pre\u00adsented twillo\u2019s struc\u00adtures and func\u00adtions as well as cur\u00adrent usage sta\u00adtis\u00adtics. D\u00fcster\u00adbeck then spoke about the equally impres\u00adsive and exten\u00adsive open online lec\u00adture series on qual\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtive research meth\u00adods, in which numer\u00adous lec\u00adtur\u00aders in orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtional research have par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpated and which will be avail\u00adable on the twillo por\u00adtal. <\/p>\n\n
In a detailed dis\u00adcus\u00adsion on the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties and chal\u00adlenges of the devel\u00adop\u00adment and use of OER in the higher edu\u00adca\u00adtion sec\u00adtor dur\u00ading this part of the event, the gen\u00aderal con\u00addi\u00adtions for revis\u00ading OER, the advanced tech\u00adni\u00adcal inte\u00adgra\u00adtion of the OER por\u00adtals of the fed\u00aderal states and the pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties of open\u00ading twillo to inter\u00adna\u00adtional con\u00adtent were dis\u00adcussed. Sev\u00aderal work\u00adshop par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants empha\u00adsized the impor\u00adtance of incen\u00adtive instru\u00adments and expressed a strong inter\u00adest in con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ading the OER fund\u00ading mea\u00adsures of the state of Lower Sax\u00adony. The option offered by the Ger\u00adman National Library of Sci\u00adence and Tech\u00adnol\u00adogy (TIB) to label OER uploaded to twillo with a Dig\u00adi\u00adtal Object Iden\u00adti\u00adfier (DOI) \u2014 sim\u00adi\u00adlar to the prac\u00adtice for sci\u00aden\u00adtific pub\u00adli\u00adca\u00adtions \u2014 was also received with par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar inter\u00adest.
