How would the guests know about this? What should the guests bring, what can they expect? If a uni\u00adver\u00adsity advo\u00adcates open\u00adness in teach\u00ading and learn\u00ading and wants to <strong>increase the vis\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adity of teach\u00ading<\/strong>, if it wants to estab\u00adlish mea\u00adsures to pro\u00admote open edu\u00adca\u00adtional resources (OER) and \u201ccel\u00ade\u00adbrate\u201d a cul\u00adture of shar\u00ading with teach\u00ading staff and uni\u00adver\u00adsity mem\u00adbers, how can the tar\u00adget groups be offi\u00adcially invited?   <\/p>\n\n<p>With an OER pol\u00adicy, uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties can set an <strong>exam\u00adple for open\u00adness<\/strong> and <strong>struc\u00adturally anchor<\/strong> the <strong>pro\u00admo\u00adtion of OER<\/strong>. Many uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties in the DACH region have already launched an OER pol\u00adicy to show not only that they are com\u00admit\u00adted to OER, open\u00adness and a cul\u00adture of shar\u00ading, but also how they want to achieve these goals and with what mea\u00adsures at the uni\u00adver\u00adsity. The path to an OER pol\u00adicy and its design is as var\u00adied and diverse as the uni\u00adver\u00adsity land\u00adscape itself. How\u00adever, when a uni\u00adver\u00adsity wants to set out on the path to an OER pol\u00adicy, there are always sim\u00adi\u00adlar ques\u00adtions: Where and how do I start? What should the pol\u00adicy con\u00adtain or reg\u00adu\u00adlate? What needs to be con\u00adsid\u00adered from a legal per\u00adspec\u00adtive? Which stake\u00adhold\u00aders need to be involved?      <\/p>\n\n<p>There are fewer clearly defined answers to these ques\u00adtions, but there is expe\u00adri\u00adence of how uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties have answered these ques\u00adtions indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adally for them\u00adselves. These have now been com\u00adpiled clearly and inter\u00adac\u00adtively in the form of the OER Pol\u00adicy Kit by a work\u00ading group con\u00adsist\u00ading of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twillo.de\/\">twillo,<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orca.nrw\/lehrende\/akteure\/netzwerk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ORCA.nrw net\u00adwork<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawk.de\/de\/hochschule\/organisation-und-personen\/zentrale-einrichtungen\/servicestelle-fuer-qualitaet-der-lehre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">HAWK Hildesheim\/Holzminden\/G\u00f6ttingen<\/a>. Over a period of six months, the six-mem\u00adber work\u00ading group <strong>com\u00adpiled expe\u00adri\u00adences from uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties<\/strong> that have already pub\u00adlished an OER pol\u00adicy or are still in the process of doing so. Dur\u00ading the writ\u00ading process, feed\u00adback from net\u00adwork\u00ading meet\u00adings of pol\u00adicy activists was col\u00adlected and incor\u00adpo\u00adrated.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The fin\u00adished <a href=\"https:\/\/liascript.github.io\/course\/?https:\/\/raw.githubusercontent.com\/twillo-lehre-teilen\/OER-Policy-Kit\/main\/OER_Policy_Kit.md#1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">OER Pol\u00adicy Kit<\/a> is an action guide that is intended to serve as a prac\u00adti\u00adcal guide through the jun\u00adgle of the OER pol\u00adicy devel\u00adop\u00adment process. Regard\u00adless of where a uni\u00adver\u00adsity is at \u2014 whether it needs a pro\u00adposal for a draft pol\u00adicy, wants to design a par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpa\u00adtory process or would first like to explain the pros and cons of an OER pol\u00adicy to the uni\u00adver\u00adsity man\u00adage\u00adment \u2014 the OER Pol\u00adicy Kit attempts to pro\u00advide <strong>gen\u00aderal ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion, con\u00adcrete tips and exam\u00adples as well as help\u00adful mate\u00adri\u00adals<\/strong> for the var\u00adi\u00adous stages, despite the exist\u00ading dif\u00adfer\u00adences between uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties. <\/p>\n\n<p>So if you are cur\u00adrently plan\u00adning an open\u00adness party at your uni\u00adver\u00adsity and would like to design the invi\u00adta\u00adtion cards \u2014 then take a look at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/liascript.github.io\/course\/?https:\/\/raw.githubusercontent.com\/twillo-lehre-teilen\/OER-Policy-Kit\/main\/OER_Policy_Kit.md#1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OER Pol\u00adicy Kit<\/a><\/strong>.
