In order to find out more about open edu\u00adca\u00adtion prac\u00adtice at uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties, twillo con\u00adducted a sur\u00advey of teach\u00ading staff at uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties in Lower Sax\u00adony last year \u2014 this time in the field of eco\u00adnom\u00adics. The aim of this sur\u00advey was to find out more about the motives for and obsta\u00adcles to the use and cre\u00adation of open teach\u00ading and learn\u00ading mate\u00adri\u00adals in a spe\u00adcific field of study. The results of the sur\u00advey are now avail\u00adable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eco\u00adnom\u00adics is not only one of the largest fields of study in the state of Lower Sax\u00adony, but is also offered at 13 of the 16 uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties in Lower Sax\u00adony. This offers the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to iden\u00adtify spe\u00adcial fea\u00adtures within a study area and at the same time to look at a large num\u00adber of uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties. With the help of par\u00adtially stan\u00addard\u00adized ques\u00adtion\u00adnaires and a meta\u00addata analy\u00adsis, a com\u00adpre\u00adhen\u00adsive pic\u00adture of OER use at busi\u00adness and eco\u00adnom\u00adics fac\u00adul\u00adties and depart\u00adments is drawn. Among other things, it shows that the num\u00adber of free teach\u00ading and learn\u00ading mate\u00adri\u00adals, active users of OER and repos\u00adi\u00adto\u00adries or the aware\u00adness of por\u00adtals such as twillo is steadily increas\u00ading, even though the major\u00adity of lec\u00adtur\u00aders in the field of study still have lit\u00adtle expe\u00adri\u00adence with the OER topic. The pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties of open edu\u00adca\u00adtion offer\u00adings have not yet reached the breadth of the field of study. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
