When a DOI is assigned, an individual character string is assigned to the work in question and a URL is stored that can be used to permanently refer to the content. This ensures that the work can be identified and cited in the long term.\r\n\r\nA DOI can be assigned on twillo for an <strong>individual material<\/strong> as well as for a <strong>collection<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n<strong>Important:<\/strong> If an <strong>individual material<\/strong> receives a DOI, only minor changes can be made to the work, such as the correction of a spelling mistake.
