Where and how do I indicate authors for OER?

In the author details section, you have the option of providing all the necessary information on authors and participants. When you save your details, twillo will create an automatically generated source reference.

In the metadata dialog, click on the input field under Authors & contributors and enter the author. Details in the Title input field are optional in twillo, as only the first name and surname are part of the author details.

Important: If you are not the author of the educational material, please do not enter your own name here - you will automatically be mentioned as a contributor to the metadata in the portal.

If several authors are involved or if you would like to specify an organization or institution, please click on additional participants.

Editing view opened: The red frame marks the 'Authors & contributors' tab and the 'Other contributors' button, which can be used to enter additional contributors.

Now select the +Add option in the Participants section of the object.

Specify contributors' dialog box: Red frame marks the 'Add' button under 'Contributors to the object' to enter additional authors.

In the following window, you now have the option of naming all authors - persons and/or organizations. Enter a name in the input mask and then select the Author:in function from the drop-down menu in the Active as area. Save your entry by clicking the Apply button.

Specify new participant(s)' dialog box: Red frames mark the selection between 'Person' and 'Organization' as well as the field 'Active as', in which 'Author' is selected.

Once you have entered all the authors of your material, they are automatically added to the source citation. You can now use this for your own citation of your material and you also give subsequent users of your material the opportunity to cite your material correctly.

You can also change your details at any time in the same way.
