About the Event

The ORCA.nrw OER Sym­po­sium 2026 will take place online on Octo­ber 1, 2026. Through­out the day, par­tic­i­pants can look for­ward to a keynote address, project pre­sen­ta­tions, work­shops, and oppor­tu­ni­ties for dis­cus­sion and net­work­ing related to Open Edu­ca­tional Resources.

The event show­cases the wide range of dis­ci­plines cov­ered by cur­rent OER projects: Pre­sen­ta­tions will include con­tri­bu­tions from den­tistry, elec­tri­cal engi­neer­ing, the­ol­ogy, eco­nom­ics, teacher edu­ca­tion, and the STEM fields, among oth­ers. In addi­tion, the work­shops will address prac­ti­cal ques­tions related to OER, arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence, qual­ity assur­ance, and the design of open edu­ca­tional resources.
